10 Comments on Do You Know Why it's called a Throne Room?
Ya gotta wonder what goes through the mind that would have someone building it like that:-) It proves if you stay in the real estate profession any length of time at all, you will come across some pretty amazing things:-)
I rarely wonder why anymore, Myrl, but I'm always amazed! :)
Ha that is too funny! What were they thinking!! My sister bought a house in Toronto that had an odd bathroom in the basement - with a throne toilet. It was just weird!!!
Good grief!! That place would never work for me. What a nightmare for someone who barely makes it there in time as it is.
Roger
I stared at this for quite awhile trying to think if there was a reason for this and couldn't think of one. Truly strange is all I could surmise. cheers cvc
Yep, it's in the basement, Anna. An unfinished, unheated basement!
But Leslie, once there, you get to look over your domain :)
Some people just want to rise above it all, Curtis
Uneven ground under the house or just a bad plumbing job? Interesting. We do see some strange things in this business don't we. To truly be the throne room though, should probably be painted gold! :-)
This one definitely falls into the 'bad plumbing job' category, Sandra
We see these in basements and they are more than a bit awkward.
