It never fails.

Most days I can pretty easily assume that I've seen it all in real estate.  There really isn't much that surprises me anymore when it comes to what you find in some houses.

Still, there comes that rare moment when I learn that there are still some things that can still surprise me.  So, the other day, while visiting a few foreclosures, I ran across what you see below.  I had to take a photo because I knew no one would believe it otherwise.

At least now, we all know why it's called "The Throne Room."  Hope you enjoy!

Ha that is too funny!  What were they thinking!!  My sister bought a house in Toronto that had an odd bathroom in the basement - with a throne toilet.  It was just weird!!!

Uneven ground under the house or just a bad plumbing job?  Interesting.  We do see some strange things in this business don't we.  To truly be the throne room though, should probably be painted gold! :-)
