Cold Temperatures, Snow, and Lots of Folks Shopping for a Home in Pascack Valley!

Today I had the pleasure of hosting an Open House at 641 Debchar Court in River Vale, a new listing I have the opportunity to offer to the public.  The weather was less than opportune..the streets were snow covered, and the temperatures were indeed quite frigid!  I was anticipating getting lots of work done on my palm, since I was sure the weather would keep the buyers at home.

Much to my surprise, we had 6 groups of visitors in a two hour period of time, on this snowy and chilly Sunday afternoon in December.  Surely, the visitors decided that visiting an Open House took priority over Holiday Shopping! 

Let me remind our "Realtor Friendly" newspapers that we have buyers out there, visiting inspite of poor weather, to shop for a home this holiday season.  It is a pleasure to see so many interested and lovely people out in December looking for a home in the Pascack Valley.  As I spoke to these visitors, many indicated that they were interested in this area because of the excellent schools, and lovely area.  River Vale was just named #29 in the top 100 Best towns ito Live in the ENTIRE United States by CNN Money Magazine for 2007!,just one of 8 incredible towns in the Pascack Valley.
