Wow and I thought nuclear power was a dead issue.  Dominion Virginia Power has asked the federal government for approval to build another nuclear reactor at its North Anna Power Station.  This would be the first successful nuclear application in three decadesrs.  Next will be to determine how expensive it would be to construct the reactor.  The plant would make electricity enough for 375,000 homes.  Thats if it is approved, if the cost estimates come in, if there are no other problems with other reactors, if the environmentalists don't shut it down.  Well you get the picture.  The plant could come on line as early as 2015.  It would decrease our dependence on oil but at what cost.
