I really need your help on this one, friends.

There seem to be 2 camps when it comes to marketing properties.

1 line of thinking says 'tell all' - or at least the basic information, including: Price, beds, baths, size, brief description, Address, etc.

The 2nd approach is to LIMIT what the viewer, reader, etc. can see so that they have to follow up with you directly (phone, email, web, etc.) to get the 'full info'.

What are your thoughts on this?

A few key points here:

  • Aren't consumers able to get this information elsewhere (like your competitor's site) anyway
  • if information is 'king'  - are we still holding it back or should we share it openly in this day and age
  • Is the power in the info Or is the power in our ability to truly 'Broker the deal'

What are you thoughts? Post and share them here in this discussion.

think web 2.0!  give them everything they need in an unrestricted way and they will come back. as a listing agetn i always give everything i have online so other agents can write better and more quality offers. i don't need to wait for anything. it all there.
