Self-leadership means learning from your mistakes. Make failure your friend.

I know that just flies into the face of our culture where we are not supposed to fail, we are bred to win and some take to the extreme and win at all cost.  But, without failure we would never learn.  Now, I am not saying go out there and just fling yourself all about and look for failure, but don't be afraid to step out and take a chance. 

If you do a mail-out and it does not work, It failed, but wait, maybe you if just change it up a little you may get a ton of calls.  The first was a failure, but you bounced back and made the right call and tried again, but you changed up your pitch and boom ton of calls.

Keys For Succeeding With Failure:

1. Learn your lessons
2. Write down your lessons
3. Find an accountability partner for your new actions
4. Review your lessons before you act
5. Never learn the same lesson more than once

So, don't be afraid to fail.  Who cares what joe blow thinks,  pull back and re-attack take different route.
