So like many people interested in real estate we frequently watch shows like "Flip that House" "The Real Estate Pro's" and "House Hunters".  These shows preach the idea that anyone can make a living buying, fixing and reselling houses.  While in reality this process is not quite as glamorous, it is still a great way to make some money if you are smart about it. 

If you are an investor currently thinking about trying to "Flip" a house you might want to consider now a good time to buy.  Home sales have been slow this fall resulting in increased inventory.  Foreclosed homes are abundant in the market and investors are able to get good deals on these listings.  What you get by buying now is lower prices as compared to the spring and summer months.  Buying now also allows an investor time to prepare for the spring time market.  While the working conditions in the winter are not ideal for remodeling those with the time will see the payouts come spring and summer.
