There have been many blogs lately on Newsletters.
There is also a new group called Blog Exchange started by Jennifer Allan. We all submit articles and give permission to others in the group to use them in their newsletter ( for an invitation just ask & I will invite you)
Here is a copy of my latest newsletter in hope that I can get comments & suggestions from the members. I am always looking to improve it.
I have been sending newsletters to my sphere of influence monthly for about 1 1/2 years now. I have received up to 8 calls from 1 mailing. I also receive many compliments. Benefits of a newsletter are:
1. It is a good listing tool.
2. It can also be sent to sellers. To keep in touch. Add your listing & it is advertising them.
3. A hand written note or a coupon can be added. You can ask a lender or other affiliate to share costs
4. Can be passed along to someone else.
5. Puts your name in front of them so you are first in mind. If you include your listings, solds & under agreements shows you are active.
6. You can put in it so that it hangs around. for example sports schedules & recipes.
7. Can be e-mailed to save costs.
8 Can be personalised- not the same old one others send that are impersonal.
9. Promote your web-site.
My newsletter is one page. It is tri-folded. I do not use an envelope, it is closed with a tab. I print it on my Xerox copier. My return address is not a label it is printed on the newsletter. So all we have to do is print, fold, stamp, address label & tab.
Comments & suggestions welcomed & encouraged.
Sorry my assistant not available to flip the newsletter for easier reading.
