How do you do Holiday shopping?

I was wondering how people shop these days.

1.  Do you go out and look around first then buy at a local store/mall?

2.  Do you look at all of those direct mail and magazines from large corporations?

3.  Do you only buy discounted items?

4.  Did you do some or all of your shopping during the rest of the year before black Friday?

5.  Do you have someone do your shopping for you?

6.  Do you look locally and then shop via Internet or by phone?

7.  Do you shop right after the holidays for incredible savings?

8.  Do you wait to the last minute?

9.  Do you search, find and order mainly on the Internet?

10. Do you find something in one place but drive around all over just to get a couple of dollar off?

11.  Do you drive around and around until that one person closest to the mall door leaves so you can have a closer parking space or do you find the first space you can and take it, even if it is far away.

12.  Do you use cash, credit cards or checks to pay?

13  Do you buy purchase those extended warranties that the cashier tries to sell you?

I do 1, 6, 8,9, 12 cc

What do you do?

I wait until the last minute and only shop the internet...too busy working to go to the stores.

This is funny, good post so fitting right now. Oh I have someone do all my shopping for me! HA I wish. Pay debit card, last minute and on the Internet. Not a big fan of shopping but I enjoy opening my door and finding boxes on the porch.

Hey Jeffrey,

I try to find everything I need to buy online unless it is clothing or shoes. Easier, not lines to wait in, no problem finding a place to park (my butt), and is usually cheaper.

All of the above! I love Christmas shopping! Some things I pick up during the year if I see something that suits someone special. I try never to buy "generic" gifts because everyone in my life is so special, (if they are gift worthy...there has to be some thought behind it and the thought can't be, "this will do for Joe").

I'm one of those shoppers that most people wouldn't go shopping with. I love to read all of the cards and pick just the right one for just the right person...

Considering that I'm married to the Grinch, most of my Christmas shopping is done, dare I say it, at Walmart. Although, this year he's threatening to only give presents sold on TV for $9.99. Yikes!!

I do 95% of my shopping online and the other 5% I will do locally.

Some stores are too far (like Target and a Mall lol - a good hour away) but I can get online and order from their website and what's really nice is I can have my gifts wrapped, tagged and delivered to family who live in other states without having to do anything except "Add To Cart" :). With kids --- by the time I'm done wrapping theirs I'm sick of wrapping! :)

I also love the Free Shipping "Site To Store" service that Walmart has; I'm in and out with my bag of goodies vs. standing in the check out line for 30 minutes (or more depending on the day of the week).

I avoid shopping on Friday's ALWAYS because that's just too many people in one place lol - my favorite day is Tuesday afternoons - don't ask me why but the stores just don't seem as crazy and I'm usually in and out in no time at all.
