Home Stagers, Decorators & Designers - Show Us YOUR Christmas tree!

Well, I finally got around to putting up our tree this weekend.  Next year Dezigner Digz will be offering holiday decorating for clients that don't have the time to do it themselves.  I guess that means our tree will be last on the list to get decorated in time for Christmas next year.  Hopefully I'll be that busy!

I thought it would be fun for everyone that celebrates Christmas to post a picture of their tree for all to see.  So take a minute and get out your camera and "show us what you've got".  If you don't celebrate Christmas, but offer holiday decorating for your clients, then post a picture of one of your client's trees.

To all of the real estate agents out there, please join us and post your photos too!

Charlene ~ We won't be getting our tree for another two weeks, but I'll check back in then and maybe post it.  Yours looks lovely!

Very pretty Charlene - I love it in the bay window! My tree is not up yet... and the kids like to do it, it is very eclectic --  guess it could win the Ms. Congeniality award!

Charlene -- Beautiful tree and room.

Here's ours . . .

Wow!  I used to work retail and I think Im a SCROOGE!  I hate Christmas music and trees!  How bad is that?

I meant to also say Charleene & Michelle- you trees look in the words of Tony the tiger---GEEERRRREEEAAAT!

Sorry the picture is so big.  This is my 1st time uploading to AR and I don't know how to resize it.  This is my "retro" tree in our Palm Springs condo.  Palm Springs is known for it's mid-century modern interiors so when in Palm Springs... go with the flow!

Charlene, I read in some getting your house ready for the holidays for sale e-newsletter to take down the Christmas decorations. Are they crazy? It's Christmas. Your tree photos show why it's such a magical time of the year.

12/05/2007 04:02 PM by Gary Woltal - REALTORĀ® Dallas Ft. Worth (Keller Williams Realty)

I just did decorations for a club for the holidays.  Don't know if I'll even put one up myself, but I'll take some pictures of those we did and post them!  Great shots.  I really like the Palm Springs tree!

Beautiful trees!  So far I only have my lights on them.  I'd better get busy!

Oh ,....Charlene...my neighbor....this is too funny...your X-mas tree has the same colors as mine!! I'm not quite done....I keep changing it up each year. I will have to send you pic's of mine when it's done.

A little hint....I had my father-in-law build me a stand to make it look a more like a focal point in the room......it looks much nicer out the window too!

Wendy - Thanks!  Yes, do keep checking back for more photos.  Do you have a photo you would like to include?

kathy - Thanks!  Post a picture of your tree when you get it decorated.  I'd love to see it!

Julianna - Thanks!  I remember those days, my son helping to decorate the tree.  It was so much fine.  Of course he's 23 now so he doesn't have the same interest in it anymore.  Enjoy the moment while it lasts.  They'll be all grown up before you know it!  Please post a photo when the kids are finished with their creation.  I'd love to see it!

Michelle - Thanks!  Your tree is beautiful, thanks for sharing it with us.

Marci - Thanks!  I imagine you would get pretty tired of Christmas music etc. if you worked in retail.

Marla - Love the tree!  Thanks for sharing it with us.

Loreena - Wow, very creative.  Great job.  Thanks for sharing it with us.

Gary - Thanks!  I agree with you, Christmas really is a magical time of year, even when we don't believe in Santa anymore (whoops, did I say that?).  P.S.  I'm honoured to be an Associate of yours.

Kim- I'd love to see photos of the trees you have done this year, especially the one for the club.  Post all of them if you can!

Kristina - There aren't enough hours in the day are there?  Make sure you post a photo when your tree is finished!

Julia - That is so funny!  Make sure you post a photo when your tree is done.  Thanks for the tip on the platform, I'll have to keep that in mind for next year!  P.S.  Are you attending the roundtable in T.O. in January?  It would be great to meet!

Our tree was decorated by my two elves: Thing 1 and Thing 2.  Yes, it will be awhile before I get to do a Mommy tree!  But...all ornaments are non-breakable!

Here are a couple of trees that I decorated this year, plus a front yard that I just finished. I also do not know how to downsize the photos..any suggestions on how to do that ?

I let my kids decorate the tree. It was actually VERY difficult for me to relinquish control, but I did. How to you like the new trend of 15 ornaments on a single branch? Also popular for 2007 -decorating only the bottom quarter of your tree. I'm calling Better Homes and Gardens! Oh well, I will only have this beautiful tree for aabout 10 more years, I'll cherish it.

12/09/2007 04:10 PM by Cari Pilon, SMART Stagers (SMART Stagers)

What a great idea. I love all the different trees...I really love your's Fernando, both inside and out!

I spent a couple of winters on Jupiter Island years ago. I really miss winter and christmas in Florida now. It still makes me giggle when I see typical 'snow' xmas decorations outside in florida on little pink and teal houses in the hot sun!

Unfortunately, I don't have my tree up yet. We are prepping the living room to paint. I hope to have it up by the end of next weekend. I'll try to remember to post it here!

12/09/2007 08:38 PM by Dane Caldwell - Downtown Toronto Decorator Home Stager (2 Hounds Design + Home Staging)

Cari - Like I said to Julianna, enjoy this time with your kids while you can.  They grow up so fast!  Great new decorating trend that you pointed out - hmmm maybe your kids are onto something :-)  Thanks for sharing your tree - it looks great.

Fernando - Both of your trees are beautiful!  I'm jealous of the outdoor one - I wish I could have a tree like that outside my home - it sure wouldn't last long with our winters though.

Dane - Post a picture of your tree when it's finished if you get a chance.  I'd love to see it.

12/10/2007 12:13 PM by Charlene Storozuk - Burlington Ontario Home Stager (Dezigner Digz)

Hi Charlene - We are still working on our tree - but I thought you would get a kick out of this one in Singapore!  It looks like cotton candy!

Charlene, I'd love to, BUT:

a. my tree was decorated by my grandkids

b. it has now been ravaged by my cats

Not a pretty sight :-)

Abby's christmas treeThis is my tree in the foyer---we have the family tree in the living room and I will not post it for public viewing (ugh!).  I have this tree elevated on my drop leaf table because my dog is still chewing EVERYTHING and there is way too much glass on it.  I hate the banister---that will definitely be done differently next year.  I rushed through it to get it DONE.  I'm really not in the spirit this year =(

Abby - Your tree is gorgeous.  I love the spiralling ribbons!  Thanks for sharing.

Pay no attention to the mess in the background... I haven't cleaned up after the initial stages of decorating!  Wires still must be hidden, etc..... I'm not doing that right now though...

Usually I have multiple trees throughout the house.  This year we decided to buy a 12 ft tree.  My personal style is country and about 85% of the decorations are handmade.  Most are made by myself, friends and family.

I think this is our best tree ever!

I have the Mid-Twentry century home, and try always to use vintage ornaments, BIG bulbs, along w/some 21st century updates.  Happy Holidays to you All!

Melissa - Your tree is gorgeous!  I'm so impressed that most of the decorations are hand made - that's awesome.  Thanks for sharing.

Julea - Your tree is stunning.  The green lights are a nice change from white ones.  Thanks for sharing.

I don't have a topper yet :(    This is a 12.5 ft tree.  I like to fill my tree with ribbons, florals (not much this year), bulbs, and shinny/glass like and Christmas Treeglittery ornaments.  This year I included a dove.  You can see it the up-close pic.  I have a 1 1/2 year old grandson this year so the bottom 2 feet is left undecorated... for obvious reasons.

Thanks to everyone for sharing!

This is fun! Here is the scene at my house:

Dillard's ad

OK, I cheated! This is an ad for Dillards sleepwear. But, that is me in the ad, the man is my ex, and the kids were complete strangers to me! Don't we make a lovely family? Sorry for the trickery, but I haven't even bought my tree yet, and it's snowing like crazy with no sign of stopping!!!

Julie - You did a fantastic job on your tree - it's beautiful.  Great idea leaving the bottom 2 feet undecorated.  Thanks for sharing.

Elaine - That is so neat!  What a great picture.  Have you done any other modelling?  If you get a chance, post a picture of your tree when you get it decorated.  I'd love to see it.  That was quite a snow storm wasn't it?  It just came through our way yesterday.

It's me again...FINALLY got the tree done this morning! Couldn't have done it without my helper (Bear is my 2 year old shepherd mix)!

I hope I'm not too late!

I've been taking pictures, off and on for the last week...they all come out blurry...could be my wide angle lens *crappy* camera. (Truely I think I dropped it).

Tonight I noticed the reflection in the dining room window of the tree and dining room chandelier and thought I'd try again...success!

O.k. so it's not the great shot of the tree...but it's what I like about the tree. The quite and the lights at night.

mowha...new graphics?

I wasn't allowed to do a Mommy tree this year :( My kids wanted colored lights and alllll the ornaments on the tree. It actually turned out to be very pretty, much to my surprise!!  Can't wait till next year....It's my turn.

By the way Charlene Your tree looks fantastic!
