Those coveted words are said in almost every marriage ceremony. Is that all they pertain to? I think NOT!
It's related to family, acquaintances, doctors, friends in general.
Does their title matter, No.
The world is a tough entity. We are here for a reason. G*d has a plan for us from the day we are born. A pattern of behaviour, a task for us, a solution to a problem, a friend to comfort, a patient to cure!
I, for one, hold my friends close, my ENEMIES CLOSER...
Sad to say, but that saves you in the long term. Knowing what someone might do to hurt you or a family member is important! DO YOU HAVE ANY CLUE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER THAT YOU ARE WORKING WITH? DO YOU KNOW THESE PEOPLE, HAVE YOU GAINED TRUST? Trust evolves over time. It is not immediate. Don't let down your guard until you have time to get to know someone, a person, customer or client!
This is no longer the 60's or 70's when you could walk to school safely. This is now lock-down's when a criminal is loose.
My point...friends, family, spouses...have them, enjoy them...comfort them...through sickness and in health.
Earn trust from your new customers, and make them show you how you can trust them. Make sure you are both on the same page...Get everything in writing. If that lovely oriental carpet is staying, put it in the contract and have them initial it...take a picture of the one they are giving with the sale...just in case they buy a cheaper one to replace that one (safety is the best policies, and pictures don't lie!)
Enjoy every minute of your life. No short cuts! Live and let live...enjoy the day!
Family is sacred, friends are great, but trust is built on long term relationships...it doesn't happen in a day!
Have a great week!
How do you feel?

Karen I know this is a sad commentary but I trust very little. Outside of my wife there is noone I trust more than say 75%
