I’ve heard about 200 agents this year alone tell me that they will never give out the address or price of a home on their property marketing. Their rationale is that if they do, there is no reason for a homeowner to go to them directly if they are interested.

The opposite is true. If someone is truly interested in a home and they lack information, they will seek out that information on their own. The obvious choice is to call the agent that is listed on the postcard but it doesn’t always happen that way.

In this consumer-tailored world in which we do business, we need to be as transparent as possible. Withholding information from our potential clients is not a good idea when there are hundreds of sources available. Providing all of the information brings great value to your clients and they will recognize it and reward you.
