REALTOR ATTACK and ABDUCTION IN SANTA FE, NM

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with Consultant

This was in my in box this morning and I believe that AR is one of the fastest ways to distribute so I am including it with my comment to pay attention to your bodies reaction to people and before you go out in the morning "feel" the day.  That motto of the Scouts is so useful! Be prepared and by the way-don't be stupid! As parents if it doesn't feel right, don't let the kids go out! Not to offend anyone but, I believe that if we paid a whole lot more attention to what is happening around us, including to the people that we are with we all would be with our families where they need us to be! Life can turn on a dime and it has for us, too. Stay safe.

Thank heaven she's alive-I pray for her to find a way to feel safe again, soon. AMEN.

Doris Barnett message follows:

This was sent to Internet Crusade: Hi everyone   We just received the following report of an attack and abduction of a Sante Fe, New Mexico REALTOR:

>>Saul Klein (is president of Internet Crusade):

One of our Sotheby's International agents in Santa Fe was attacked and abducted at gunpoint yesterday and made to withdraw money from her bank account prior to getting away from the perpetrator.  The woman who committed the attack got away, but the FBI has a notice that I will be receiving sometime today detailing the incident and how the perpetrator operated.  They asked me if there was a way to distribute this alert nationally.  I'm asking if I can get you to post it on the listserves in our Realtor communities in order to assist the FBI in discovering if any similar incidents have happened to members nationwide.  Please let me know if you can help us in some way.  Thanks!

This is indeed serious information.  I took a Realtor safety class last year and one of the key things he stressed is go with your gut, if it feels wrong then it something probably is wrong.  I hope this gets brought to more people's attention.

Frankly I wasn't looking for "points" on this post, this information is important and if you want to delete more points please do so. Saving a life counts with me! I don't want another family to have to go through what ours has. Why not put up a place for realtor safety bulletins to be posted that is obvious-if you are serving our community there should be community service? Please?
