Last week in my post, Please Tell Me You Didn't Delete All The Photos On The Memory Card! I told you how I accidentally deleted all the photos I had taken that weekend, and that I had been told about a deleted photo recovery program and was able to save 98% of the photos on the memory card.

The program I used is called Zero Assumption Digital Image Recovery and is a free download. It sometimes doesn't recover all the photos, and I was going to download a second program called File Scavenger that is supposed to be better and give that a try, however I ran out of time and needed the card for video last weekend. I hope I don't find a need for it in the future, but if I do, we all know it is available with a free trial offer.

Anyway! I wanted to share with you the actual recovered photos!

TADA!

From Saturday Night's Main Street Muscle Car Show (Thanksgiving Weekend)

Notice the old A/C unit on the window?

Convertible 67 (I think) Mustang and 2 Challengers.

Man, they all sounded so good pulling in!

I haven't done any cropping yet, the photos are still in the "root" folder the program put them in. Once I crop this one hopefully you're eye will go straight to the clean black hot rod parked under the Dirty Harry's sign.

My favorite Biker Dog Chloe. She goes everywhere with her daddy on his bike. Even has her own glasses.

Slow Ride during their sound check at the Banks and Blues on Main Street.

I also have photos from the Poker Run too, but I'll have to share them with you at a later time, I have to go to work now.

Gotta earn a living you know!

Lysa, I am so thrilled you recovered your photos and shared them, I love older cars (and could HEAR) the noise when you mentioned it!  I'm glad you had a wonderful time and recovered some  precious photos.

Carole, Girl, the sound of a muscle car is music to my ears.... those babies purrrrrr. I'm thrilled too :) Thanks!

Bret & Meredith, Thank you! There were a few nice cars there, I'm going to stick to my favorite place next Thanksgiving, Belleair Plaza, that's where it's happening!

Chris, You're welcome! Oh you should meet her in person! She goes and greets all her friends one at a time when she arrives at her destination!

Now those are the kind of cars I dreamed of when I was a kid. I did have the 67 Mustang but it was falling apart and i didn't have money to restore it...hat I would give to have it now!

So glad you got your pics back.  I store mine on a flash drive, when I remember. ;)

WOW Lysa, wish I had known about that when I deleted all my pics, and then again when my husband deleted all my pics!  I did notice the old A/C unit.  When I was a kid and we were driving across country in the summer, my grandmother lent hers to my parents.  When my mom pulled the chain to open the cooling vent, about 10 million bugs flew out, right in her face!  We kids laughed till we fell on the floor, she got mad cause we were laughing at her, closed the vent and never tried to use it again!  Now days in the desert SW and other dry climates, the same principal is used to air condition homes.   Thanks for the trip down memory lane!

You really should put some of these on Localism. I'm sure a lot of people would be interested in the Turkey Run pics. Oh! And did you get my message about the new Things to Do/Places to Visit group?

12/05/2007 10:20 PM by Lisa Hill (Daytona Beach Real Estate) (Adams Cameron and Company)

Neal, I know a lot of people saying that.

Monika, Awe, maybe one day you can be? Thanks!

Maureen, I actually use My Book for storage. I fill flash drives way too quickly, so My Book just makes more sense price and space wise.

Terry, Wow, I've never known someone who actually had a unit like that. What a story! I know about the swamp coolers, they are in the older houses there. Give me a good ole A/C unit any day!
