My first Blog?

By
Real Estate Agent with Coldwell Banker Real Estate DRE#01410072

Hello fellow Bloggers!

I wonder if you remember the day you first blogged!

I am so excited to finally have time to set up a blog and  was my first choice! I am even more excited to meet fellow RE bloggers out there!

Please be patient as I learn my way around the blogging world and then back into reality!

I work with many of the Generation "x"ers and "y"ers and they live for their blogs. I am hoping to become even more of a reality to them and their world and guide them into our business, into their first homes. In San Diego, California, that will probably be a 400k condo...hopefully to include a garage or at least 2 parking spaces!

Look for some interesting perspectives from this blogsight as I continue to take the pulse of our youngest investors and help my oldest homeowner's pass on to a new season in their lives selling their last homes. Wow ! What a wonderful career we can all have assisting people with finding the perfect place to call home!

Always remember....

HOME is where the HEART is!

Welcome aboard Gina.... I recall the early days poking around and learning how to add photos & links.  The site has come a long way this year and I'm sure you'll find it as addictive as the rest of us.

Thanks to all of you for your encouragement!

My son,Daniel, just called me from Indiana University in Bloomington Indiana to report "ASH" falling from the sky! My husband and I were raised in the Midwest! Had to laugh at our California kids first sighting of "SNOW!"this season!

My business in San Diego is heavy in the Snowbird dept with many moving here to escape weather! Can't beat those Midwest friendships and the long evenings of playing board games!

Wait until my 2 grown sons find out Mom has a blog! They and their friends were shocked when I got up on Facebook! This blog will blow them away!

Now to go outside and soak up some sun!

Hi! Welcome to the site. I recommend that you read, read, read and then comment, comment, comment. There are so many different blogs to read. There are tons of topics out there from real estate, marketing, technology, seo, staging, mortgage, etc. It goes on and on. Find topics you like (in the groups) follow those for a little while, start to find certain writers you like. Comment on their posts. You'll start to get to know people and before you know it... you'll have figured out the benefits of the site. Also reciprocate your comments. Consider posting blogs with content for consumers. Those are included on localism.com. So you could write about your area or about things you know in real estate or related etc. Also check out Resources for the Active Rain Newbie.

Good luck!

I am so excited to get such a great response from so many of you bloggers out there!

I am totally new at this and anxious to share my blogging world with my 2 sons who will be home for Christmas.

I have wanted to blog for a long time and my boys thought there was no way Mom could figure this all out!

But I did and  I am one happy gal!

Thanks for all the positive encouragement!

Stay tuned to lots of good posts about life in the Real Estate fast lane out here in San Diego County!

I am a committed full time Buyers Agent by choice with my ABR designation so if any of your clients are looking at finding a place in the sun, I am "bargain shopper Number 1" in my office!
