Rates Are Too High to Buy Now?!?!

I recently had a buyer choose to not buy a home because "rates were too high." Certainly an excuse but here's some evidence to fire back at someone if you get the same point of resistence.

Wow - "rates were too high" - not a valid excuse today! This is the first time I've been able to offer a low 5's on purchase on a FIXED THIRTY in months! They must be listening to the media instead of asking the educated, experienced, legitimate and reliable industry professionals. Kevin is right - that is NOT an excuse.

The interest rates for mortgages is very attractive.   This is a good time to buy.Good/lots of inventory too.
