Recently read an article about what a buyer needs to know to get a loan.  In this article I learned the components of your FICO.  I thought that other members of ActiveRain might be interested in this information.

The components of a FICO Score:

  • Payment history  -  35 percent
  • Amounts owed  -  30 percent
  • Length of credit history  -  15 percent
  • New credit  -  10 percent
  • Types of credit used  -  10 percent
