We have some new crossovers, hybrid agents. Okay, those that see the value in straddling 2 or more agent online communities. Recently I was homesick so I knocked on the doors of some of my mentors and role models at the agentsonline community. I found that some were already here and some were delighted at the prospect of joining up here, too.
My message to our new group from a group in a group within the group Agents On Line at Active Rain--if you are not tagged now, you will be. When I was tagged, my response was "what?" "You've gotta be kidding." The first thing I did, which you may want to do as well is go to the search bar, choose blog, then type in either tag, memed, or both one at a time. You will get a history and sooner or later find the orginating rationale behind agents at play.
I want to know more about all of you. But, for now I am tagging Darlene Bitner, Dee Copeland, and Rebel Broker. (I will email them as well). They all answered countless questions for me as I made my way from pre-licensing, selecting my first broker association, changing brokers, and giving their viewpoints on the countless and diverse issues we all face from time to time. My impression is that each are highly ethical, straight to the point, professional, knowledgeable and at times, extremely ethnocentric.
Through all of them I have assumed some philosophies of pro-discounting, anti-discounting, pro-franchise, pro-independent. They shaped me as no single source ever could have, and no single broker experience could have. The result: I'm a hybrid crossbreed. Since being nurtured, bottle fed and at times having my hands slapped, I have successfully managed my first 13 transactions, earned my GRI, C-Crec, E-pro, and Brokers Licensing, I am now scheduled for Broker Post in January.
The big message here is I have Agents all over the country to thank. All of you who work at blogging, and those of you who think about blogging, but don't--You'll probably never realize the impact you can have on others by sharing your experiences.
