A little over a year ago when I joined Active Rain, I had never blogged before.  I thought it was like the chat rooms and a big waste of time.

Since being persuaded to check out Active Rain by fellow REALTOR, David Kucic, I have changed my opinion dramatically.  David did me a giant favor be getting me to join.

Since joining I have made many new friends in the real estate industry.  I have shared knowledge with so many.  The folks on Active Rain, besides being some of the top professionals in the business, are also some of the most generous.  I have received valuable tips and opinions and referrals from other members of this forum.

Not long ago Celeste "Sally" Cheeseman from our office at Century 21 Liberty Homes joined and has become a blogging icon in a reasonably short period of time.  She has helped keep me motivated and active on the blogs.

In November I attended my first Active Rain gathering in Las Vegas.  It was such a special treat to meet some of the people who have become a part of my business and my social network in person.

In the last few months several clients have found me by reading my blog posts.  Several more existing clients have gone to Active Rain to check me out.  Thanks to my new found web exposure through Active Rain I am now easier to find on the search engines.

For those who have followed my writing for awhile; yes I am still two-finger typing.  Before I hit the next 400 posts I am committed to learn how to type.
