From time to time, I try to feature different neighborhoods of Tampa in this blog.  In this post, instead of featuring a neighborhood, I am featuring one street--Bayshore Boulevard.  This is truly the street of dreams, or should I say the boulevard of dreams.  Bayshore Boulevard runs along the Hillsborough Bay; it is said to have the longest continuous sidewalk in the world (10 feet wide and 4.5 miles long!).  Popular with joggers, Bayshore Boulevard offers breathtaking views of the bay and the gorgeous homes overlooking it!

The majestic homes lining this street all have magnificent vistas of the Bay.  The architecture of the homes on Bayshore is mixed.  You will find stately older homes as well as recently constructed magnificent homes.  One new home that recently sold on Bayshore sold for $2,000,000. and has over 6,700 square feet, with travertine and cherry hardwood floors. 

The most expensive home currently on the market on Bayshore that I am aware of is listed for $5.5 million and has 10,300 square feet, and was built in 1905.  Located on between 1 to 2 acres this mansion has 7 bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms, 5 fireplaces and a pool.
