Council gives preliminary approval to zoning for large house lots, an article from the Loveland Daily Reporter-Herald, reports that the Loveland City Council gave a preliminary approval to the new zoning designation known as estate residential.  This zoning designation would allow a maximum of two homes on every developable acre.  Greg George, the city's director of development services said, "The intent is that when someone drives through the developed area, they see homes spaced a considerable distance apart."  The designation will streamline future proposed developments, he added.

Sounds like a good idea.  It's always nice to have some space.
