Well, almost. Yesterday he actually said in a CNBC interview that he would buy houses by the hand-full. So if you have been sitting on the fence, or if you know someone who has been waiting to know if the real estate market has hit bottom, send them to read the transcript or watch the video of the interview.

Buffett says that real estate is a better place to put money than other investments. "I would say the single-family homes are cheap now," says Buffett to Becky Quick. He goes on to say, "I had a way of buying a couple hundred thousand single-family homes, ..."  he'd do it. If the Oracle of Omaha is saying this publicly, he's been saying it privately for awhile.

So if you or someone you know has been waiting for "THE Bottom" tell them it is here - and they may already be behind the curve.

Warren Buffett has a great track record, but he's been wrong about the housing market before. Hopefully he's right this time.

Buffet * in addition to being a TAX cheater is also saying that HOMEOWNERS VICTIMIZED Banks when they took out EQUITY that later DISAPPEARED from the BANKS that he had INVESTED in.....His comments are very self-serving.

Hi

I saw him on the show. He sure thinks a lot different than most people, referring to the number he would buy if he could figure out how to manage them. cheers cvc
