fishGee whiz, I'm clueless. I just go along in my little bubble and enjoy so many aspects of the great stuff that goes on here in the AR forum. I just gush here and gush there about all the generosity and giving nature of the members, the ever "raising the bar for the industry" gets sprinkled liberally throughout my posts. I haven't noticed the "blogs" or the "cliques".

I love good writers and reading their posts. I love the people who have contributed and made AR what it is. I defer to them and have great respect for them. I love writers that inspire me. People from the "inspiration" groups that help us stay positive and learn from experiences they share on how to create our success. I love the craft of writing poignant posts that moves our hearts and inspires us. I love the edgy writers who bring clarity on issues and perspectives. I even like the sports talk.

I like trying harder to measure up and contribute. I stay committed to being open and learning from others perspectives, even if I don't agree.

Exchange is good. I think I'll stay clueless. I like it. I'm here for the consumer and to inspire and be inspired. That has not changed for me. I am good with it! Dedicated to being clueless and lovin' it!

Jeanean, You are FAR from clueless. I read your blogs quite often.  LOVE your fishbowl..

Jeanean--How can you be clueless if you know that there is drama? You just know to how to stay away it...That is very smart indeed! There will always be a few in any community on-line or off, stirring the pot. Stay clueless and keep blogging. :)

12/06/2007 01:52 PM by Teri Eckholm, RealtorĀ® Anoka County MN (Keller Williams Premier Realty)

This is great! I guess I am clueless too, but tend to think of the whole "live and let live" line.

12/06/2007 02:40 PM by Allison Werner (To Be Announced)

Kay, thanks for the kind words. I really am clueless. I just celebrate my little brains out over the "good" things. I find more good than anything else. Thanks for commenting.

Teri, thanks for commenting. I really do believe that diversity is good. I don't like drama and I am sure that no one else does either. It comes up now and again when we react strongly to something we believe in. If we allow, progress can be made sometimes and sometimes not. Allowing in both directions is the best course. Responsibility for self is where sanity lies. I love the movie "Off The Map". It is a wonderful movie about a families ability to allow each other to change and be themselves. Allowing is a powerful concept when applied to group thinking and provocative subjects! Thanks for visiting.

Allison, thanks for commenting. There is room for us all and our "big brains"!It is all GOOD!

12/06/2007 02:55 PM by Jeanean Gendron ~ Redding & Shasta County Specialist (Real Estate Professionals--GMAC)

Jeanean, Just keep doing your thing. The drama will always be here for those that have nothing better to do. It's actually very entertaining. While I LOVE AR it is just a blog site for Pete's sake! Folks really just need to lighten up and blog and let blog. Jealousy is a vicious disease and will rob folks of their joy if they let it.

12/06/2007 04:27 PM by Bryant Tutas-Tutas Towne Realty, Inc

Bryant, you are too busy moving to be commenting. Tell TLW I am sorry for emailing her. I didn't know you guys were moving and trying to get all you own in a 27 foot Uhaul! I love hearing from you. You are always the voice of sanity! I love "it is just blog site for Pete's sake!" Hope your life is coming back together and you are getting settled! All kidding aside, it is good to be passionate about what you believe in. I am and you are. That's what it is all about. I am so for our right to "put it out there". The opportunity is to learn from it. I may be a broken record! Thanks for commenting!

I, too, am clueless.  Maybe I haven't been here long enough, though.

12/06/2007 05:56 PM by Alayna Berek (Keller Williams Realty)

Jeanean - can you add a third fish to the bowl. Most of the time I don't even understand what the brohaha is all about. I always wanted blogging to be true to life. I guess all of it the positive and the negative is true to life. We are moving on.

12/06/2007 05:57 PM by Faina Sechzer - Princeton, Montgomery, Hopewell, NJ Real Estate Expert (Henderson-Sotheby's International Realty)

Brian, thanks for commenting. I guess I was using the term "figuratively". Everyone seems a bit ready to think I really am "clueless". That's okay by me. I really am positive down to the bone. I remember a post not too long ago where the writer wanted to know if being positive is a natural part of someone's personality or if it is a learned or acquired skill. My comment to the writer was that I don't seem to be able to help myself. It is true that I see the glass half full rather than the reverse. As long as I am learning, I can find the positive nature of the endeavor.

Dick and Sandy, thanks for commenting. We have a good opportunity here in the RAIN to contribute and bring relevant topics to our community. I am so happy to be here and I love all parts of it. Diversity is the root cause for change and learning. It is all good and I know, I keep saying that!

12/06/2007 06:25 PM by Jeanean Gendron ~ Redding & Shasta County Specialist (Real Estate Professionals--GMAC)

Hi Jeanean - it seems like the more things change the more they stay the same. We've seem drama come and go, and likely we'll see even more of it. I like to just stay away from it, maybe being clueless....... clueless can be fun and certainly is a lot more cheerful, isn't it? Who needs that kind of junk anyway? I like what Bryant wrote! Ann

Alayna, welcome to Active Rain. Being clueless can be a blessing. I would be glad to talk with you via email or by phone and share with you some of the great things about AR. It is a wonderful platform for learning and wonderful venue for change and evolution. I hope it is as enriching for you as it has been for me. Thanks for commenting and again a big WELCOME!

Hello Ann, thanks for commenting. I like your blog. I enjoy your writing. I liked what Bryant wrote also. He always give me a "hoot"! He's so funny and yet so "on"! Big chuckles!

12/06/2007 06:41 PM by Jeanean Gendron ~ Redding & Shasta County Specialist (Real Estate Professionals--GMAC)

Dan, thanks for commenting. We have a lot of people within the forum that provide clarity. It is the big attractor for me. I am a learning junkie and have spent my life dedicated to "improving the improvement process" a second derivative for learning. When we improve how we improve, we see the learning increase in a significant manner. AR is improving how we do business on a day-to-day basis. Can't help being excited about that!

12/06/2007 06:46 PM by Jeanean Gendron ~ Redding & Shasta County Specialist (Real Estate Professionals--GMAC)

Bill, thanks for commenting. I think that there is opportunity for all of us to learn each and every day. We all know what we are passionate about and we get better and better at expressing it. These are all very important issues for us all. When we allow diversity to exists and exchange to occur, we can learn. It is all opportunity if we choose to see it that way. Thanks for the visit!

Jeanean: I am not clueless. I have opinions about almost everything. My wife tells me I should be concentrating in making money and not in trying to solve the world's problems; and we seem to have plenty of them nowadays. My problem is that I am a newby in Active Rain and after reading and reading so many intelligent and well written blogs, I feel like I need 10 more years of blogging just to try to; using your own words, "to measure up". By the way, even if you decide to stay "clueless", I believe that by reading the Active Rain Blogs and thinking about them; even if you decide to stay in the sidelines, it sure makes you smarter. Not sure if I was the conductor or the guy who got run over by that train, but I can appreciate these sentiments very much today, Jeanean.  As one who never thought he was "aligning" with anyone, the biggest lesson I have learned today is to just let it all roll off my back.  I was actually hoping for resolution to silly infighting rather than the full scale shenanigans that ensued, but I'll just leave it all alone next time.  I'm a jester not a fighter.  Thanks for helping to lighten the mood.

Jeanean, what a lovely post and a thought provoking one also.   I enjoy reading your articles and thoughts and hope that you continue - there is a nice mix here on ActiveRain of people that I enjoy reading. "I love writers that inspire me".  Beautifully put Jeanean.

Jeanean - What?! There's drama here?  They have cliques?! Say it isn't so!!  Really, your words are right on.  Stick to reading about the stuff that inspires you, that motivates you and keeps you positive.  That's why I read your posts! I'm clueless right along with you.

12/07/2007 07:42 AM by Irene Morales Ward, Realtor, ABR, e-Pro Northern Virginia Real Estate (REMAX Absolute)

I would love to join the "clueless club" but as Joeann Fossland suggests, it is a decision to rise above the fray.  You can not possibly be clueless if you have the info on your site about sustainable business models.

Might I suggest you change the name to "ClueFull"??  I too, choose to stay out of the drama, I view the glass as half full, not half empty.

Surround yourself with postitivity and stay out of the drama, you'll be glad you did ;-)

12/07/2007 08:05 AM by Jeanean Gendron ~ Redding & Shasta County Specialist (Real Estate Professionals--GMAC)

Diane, thanks for commenting. The whole issue is close to home for us all. As a group we need to be strong in our expression and our opinions. At the same time we have to encourage diversity. It would be hard for any group of people. We just have to hold the standard high and allow each other the respectful space. I keep saying the same things over and over, but I know it is an important issue. I was moved by Paul's post and the commenting.

12/07/2007 08:11 AM by Jeanean Gendron ~ Redding & Shasta County Specialist (Real Estate Professionals--GMAC)

Rene, thanks for commenting. I like the "tude" post. I think you captured the essence of this post "free spirit". We all need to own how we want to contribute here in AR. I have had so many people that have contributed to my growth here in the RAIN. This post isn't about being critical of any aspect of AR. It is about the commitment to take it to the highest level.

12/07/2007 08:18 AM by Jeanean Gendron ~ Redding & Shasta County Specialist (Real Estate Professionals--GMAC)

Denise, welcome to Active Rain. You are welcome for the post and I am glad you enjoyed it. Broker Byrant and so many others here in the comment stream are reassuring you that this is a powerful platform to learn, to share and to evolve your business. Don't lose sight of that. The diversity here in the RAIN is part of the power. It acts as a catalyst for change. My post is the recognition of celebration of all that is offered here. Keep learning and sharing and writing and you will improve in your skills and knowledge and your business will grow. Again, welcome and if I can help you in anyway, email or call me.

12/07/2007 08:23 AM by Jeanean Gendron ~ Redding & Shasta County Specialist (Real Estate Professionals--GMAC)

Issac, I couldn't agree more. The Active Rain forum is a powerful place for learning and growing your business. You can read success story after success story on how it will provide you with business and growth. Stay here in the forum and learn. Work on your writing skills by posting. Not every post will be featured. Through the act of writing you will experience growth and improvement. Reading is how you find out how to improve and to implement what you learn. Opinions are good and our best opportunity to learn comes from the best in our industry sharing their opinions and wisdom. Thanks for commenting.

Bonnie, thanks for posting and your readership. Hard to believe anyone wants to read my blog. I have been working hard at "sharpening the saw" as Covey tells us, but to have a readership is a surprise. Thank you. I do like the fishbowl. I could not believe I found such a relevant photo for the post. Thanks for your kind words.

12/07/2007 08:50 AM by Donald Bradbury, REALTOR Bucks County PA (The Bradbury Team at Coldwell Banker Heritage)

Paul, I went back to reread the post, so that I can provide you a decent and relevant comment back. It is a hard thing that was going on. You have to know however, that there were a lot of people who took the time to provide long and thoughtful comments on the subject. Obviously, there was a nerve there. Clarifying and providing the opportunity to exchange is the powerful opportunity. Keeping it on a positive level, the challenge. "IT IS WHAT IT IS" and for me that is the celebration. When we are passionate and can objectively write about it, we are effective. If for no other purpose than your own expression, you were successful in your intention. I would not change anything in my comment to you within your post. We really only have responsibility for our own perspective. It is our prerogative to change or not. Provocative posts provide us all the opportunity to change. I believe this is a good thing. I love quoting Broker Bryant "You done good!" I know you felt like you got hit by a train and as a gentle person I know that is not fun. I would not want that experience either. You expressed above the value of the whole thing. You know where you want to be now and how you want to contribute. Thanks for commenting.

Kelly, I like your "Reflections" post. Each person needs to find that formula that works for them. I usually don't have time to be part of the drama, but I care about the high level of contribution that happens here in AR. I care about people and their right to voice their opinions on all sides and on all topics. Our right to stay out of it is also an important choice that we own. This post was written with that in mind. Thank you for commenting, Kelly. I like your writing.

There are very good reasons that some people turn off the "news" or stay away from arguments.....they have a tendency to spoil a positive outlook.......remember those birds that stick their heads in the sand?  I think they might just have the right idea sometimes :) :)

AR is a great place, but every now and then the Drama comes around......your attitude is great, and "Clueless" sounds pretty good :)  I know I had no intention to be involved, sometimes things just happen :) :)

Kathy, thanks for commenting. I agree and when we allow the exchange we can help improve how we grow and evolve. Nature is not always kind about change and evolution, why would we expect it to be different with human evolution. It is the end result that can make it all positive. Thanks for the visit, I am glad you came by.
