There are 47 one-bedroom condos for sale on the beachside in Greater Daytona Area, which is this barrier island between the ocean on the East and Halifax River (Intracoastal Waterway) on the West. It varies in width from 3 to 7 hundred yards.
Prices start from $35K for 608 sf in Ocean Garden, converted from the apartment building at the peak of the market to a 1,015 sf Marina front condo in Harbour Village in Ponce Inlet for $450K.
First of all, the inventory is very low. I do not remember the exact numbers, but I would not be surprised if we had 3 times that number just a couple of years ago.
My pick of beachside one bedroom condos under $100K is only 7 condos. However, I was using only one lowest priced condo in the complex, and in some complexes there is more than one unit for under $100K for sale. For example there are 6 units for under $100K for sale in Riverside (2711, 2801 and 2901 N Halifax Ave, Daytona Beach, FL 32118), while I used the least expensive one ($49,900) for this list.
If you are looking for inexpensive condos on the beachside, try not to set your eyes on one bedroom units thinking that they should be less expensive and better deals.
Developers did not build many one-bedroom units, and it is not unusual to find a better deal with way more common 2 bedrooms.
