55 Comments on The Beautiful Being of Blogging
I'm allowed out for bathroom breaks.
Hey Jason. Good to see you. I haven't been around much lately. Just too damn busy to write.
If folks want absolute truth then they can become a mathmetician. Just don't use the new made up numbers :)
Bryant - Busy is good, my friend. Hope you and TLW are doing lovely:)
May - You are lucky. I am not.
James - Wonderful point.
JRT - Your buddy beat you to it. But the 5% kickback still applies.
Christine - It does have its advantages:)
Just wanted to drop by and say it's good to see you blogging, I could take a tip from you and get busy on it myself!
Russell - You should, my friend. But you might want to blog about business rather than Interviews with God, Ron Paul, & Justin Beiber's haircut;)
Miss reading your blogs when you were blogging for business, too Jason! Hope you and Jen are doing well.
Very well. Hope things are going great for you and yours, Erica. It certainly sounds like it:)
I think I heard they got rid of Farrior, too. Hines was an integral part of my winning Fantasy Football team back in '04 or '05. Even the last couple of years I'd get him on my roster. I'd take him on the final round, just cuz. I'll miss him, too.
Jason,
Hating it for the Steelers. As far as blogging, there should be no one out there with supressed feelings or stress from keeping things in when they can let it all out via blogging.
Blogging is an amazing tool Jason and you are fortunate to be free of the "bonds" that simply blogging for business keep you in. There is so much freedom in blogging and especially in blogging as a way to share who you are and what matters most to you.
Like you...I am totally disgusted over the Steelers releasing Hines Ward. I had the pleasure of meeting Hines in Hawaii several years back and he is everything off the field that he proves to be on it. He will be missed!
Boy, you work hard at returning comments, too. There's lots of blue up there!
Cheryl - I try. There are plenty of posts that I write where I don't acknowledge comments like some folks think I should. Such is the etiquette of blogging and the differing philosophies in such. My "I acknowledge your existence" retort doesn't go well with some circles. So I try to be personal and all ... shaking hands, kissing babies, and bleeding blue.
Rebekah - I understand it from a biz sense, but my heart doesn't get it. I guess that is why I'm not running an organization that's elite in most every facet. Still, it's Hines ...
Larry - There is a fundamental bone in my body that thinks those Steelers will be okay. They may lose to Houston in the AFC Championship next year, but they have at least one Superbowl (and they'll win!) in them in the next three years.
Eric - Ditto. But I'm trying to abstain from the Fantasy Football gig ... I leave my bets on things I can control. For example, who I can tear apart in an arm wrestling match at the next AR Gathering. :)
while I dont stop by very often these days, what a pleasure to still see you sharing away!!
I hope that life is treating you well!
Jason, you are a good man, and a great blogger. Thanks for all your "lessons".
Jason, this post was something I wish I had it in me to write. Very commendable post, and, I guess that is why I stick to Localism posts because I don't write nearly as well. Thanks for the inspiration.
This was really a pleasure to read. Kudos to Ron Marshall for passing it on. If it hadn't been for the blogging medium, I would never have started writing again.
Madcap - I always thought you looked better in red.
Jill - I may never have started writing again either. If nothing else, I'm thankful for that.
Don - Kind words, my man. Thank you!
Ron - I have my moments ;)
Nazur - Long time, no see! Hope you are doing great, my friend!!
Jason - PRICELESS!
That's beautiful.
And that is blogging.
Go on and be beautiful and blog ... whether in writing or thinking.
Make the world a bit better than it was without you. And that's my Gary Woltal moment of the day.
Jason,
Russel Ray shared with my when I started on active rain to find my own voice. Each one of us has a unique voice, and we are free to listen to those we want to listen to.
Today, I chose to listen to yours.
Chris - I'm interested in who you will listen to tomorrow.
John - I wish it was, my man. Wish it was.
