Is Blogging Helping

I have been blogging and it has moved me up in the ranks among Alabama Realtors, but I don't know if it is really helping. Does anyone have any sugestions as to what will make my blog more popular? What will help me promote my website? I don't want to be tacky and just blog to blog. I want to do something that will work. Any sugestions would help.

Yes, it will help you...making contact's with agent's all over the US will eventually help you...patience my friend.

as strange as it sounds, I was told by a popular blogger, to be controversial.....not sure I want all the nonsense that comes with that thought....

Blog about something in your area on Loacalism. There are plenty of subjects. I own a condo in Orange Beach and would like to know a good place to eat.

Emily-yes blogging will help your recognition. However what Bill did-the link to his website in a comment on your blog is against the AR rules. You can delete or edit his comment to remove the link. You can read lots of great information on how to get better recognition through your blog by just typing in SEO in the search bar at the top of the page on AR

You can always call me if you need support... you will do fine...get out, mix with people. I met someone last Thursday. Showed him a house that I knew he would love Friday, showed him two more Saturday and we made an offer on the first one Monday... executed it Monday and it is due to close Jan 3rd, 2008.

Emily, I look at blogging as an extension to the support and advise I give to my clients. I aim to blog for business by providing information about my local area and for agents because I do agent training. The most important thing is to provide content that you are pleased with. Best Wishes.

Anything worthwhile takes time. I have been blogging for six months, and have closed 1 escrow from a client who found my blog.

Just be yourself, and write about what you know. It could be about events happening in your city, local real estate news, local politics, etc. Set yourself up as the expert in your area.

The best thing I have gained from blogging is all the people I have met. Many of these people have become friends, but more important, they are new potential sources of referral business. Keep blogging, it works!!

You have come to the right person for good eating advise. You have to go to San Roc Cay. There are 2 really great eateries there. My favorite is Grazie. It is Italian food and their shrimp fettucini is to die for. Their wine selection is also great. Reds is another place at San Roc Cay. Their filet migon is great, but don't order their roast beef sandwich...my boyfriend ordered it and we didn't like it very much. Which condo are you in? I deal mostly in the condo market here in Orange Beach. If you head to Gulf Shores, Mikees is a good place for family seafood dining. Bayside Grill at Sportsman Marina has been under new management for about a year and they are back to their pre-Ivan quality...much better than post-Ivan. If you are ever in town don't hesitate to contact me for any other suggestions.
