While shopping, thoughts popped in my mind, and every time I picked an item a new thought and another tear. Yes, I don't really understand it. What are the tears about?
Was the tears for the mother who worries for their son or daughter or the family who awaits for dad to come home? I don't know but I have been this way my whole life.
Call me Patriotic...
A great quote I read recently and I cannot remember the source, they stated,
"Don't hold it against them....they are following orders...Support Our Troops!"
I personally believe no one wins in war...I can't think about that now...all I can think about is that someone's mother, daughter, father, son...is fighting for my freedom.they sacrifice..in my mind what is important is to Support Our Troops!
Reading through the comment thread in my last post Adopt a Platoon there were so many great suggestions...Thank You.
I started thinking what I would be doing if I were in their shoes..what would help relieve stress? What would keep me current at home..the trends, music, business, sports? What type of activities would help me stay sane? This is what we decided to do..
