Why not? Isn't life grand? We are here for a reason...all of us. We have a purpose...We have a chore...

We are here to help a friend.

We are here to give pennies to a person on the street not as fortunate as us...

We are here to say a prayer for our friends.

We are here to buy a newspaper on the street corner for a few cents.

We are here to help our neighbor.

We are all here for some good reason...

G*d created us as equals, no religion, just equals,

in my opinion, if things were the same as they were a long time ago...

we would share our wealth,

we would share our food,

we would be friends....

we could trust one another...

The latter appears to be gone....why.

What ever happened to being sincere and being able to trust?

Karen - I love the way you think.  I had some very unfortunate experiences when I first started real estate and thought I was being naive for being so trusting of people.  I decided to just surround myself with good people and together we will keep out the bad.  It's working.  We're a small group now but if anyone in our group finds another like-minded person, we let the others know.  It's a referral group.  We also share when we've had a bad dealing with a dishonest agent or loan officer.  We are mostly agents and not all of us work for the same broker.  We tell people, we are friends first.  Sounds like a good topic for my next blog!

Karen, I really wish I had an answer to what happened! I'm afraid to let my kids bike to a store less than a quarter mile away. Something my parents would have let me do, even if the store had been 5 miles away.

Things have certainly changed and not for the good! I still have hope that one day we will be able to let our kids go out without fear, but I sure wish it could be sooner than later.
