Here is another idea for the welcome basket as a closing gift.  First you can create your own ribbon personalized to the address and another personal addition to the basket can be a magnet picture frame of their home or family in front of the new home.

frame/boarder examples

Create a 2 frames of your choice one for 8.5, and another inside for 5.7/  Most word programs have boarders you can use or copy. Then you will need a Magnetic Photo Frame Project Sheet from a office supply store.  Also available on a roll.  (You can create magnetic shelf labels, self adhesive business cards, bumper sticker magnets, check out this supply website for more ideas.

Each sheet can be used to create one double-bordered frame or cut apart to create two frames--one for a 5 x7" photo and one for a 3.5 x 5" print.

SUPPLIES:

  • 8.5 x 11-inch inkjet magnetic paper
(included free with orders from September newsletter)
  • box cutter or x-acto knife
  • ruler with metal straight edge
  • cutting matt

DIRECTIONS:

  • Select artwork for frame from your file and print on magnetic paper using highest quality print setting.
  • Place magnet on cutting matt and using x-acto knife and ruler,
  • To create two frames instead of one, create a solid blue boarder within the outside boarder to fit with 3.5 x 5-inch photo
  • Remaining outer frame will hold a 5 x 7-inch print.
