An Incredible App To Save Time Galore!
This was an incredible find - in a comment section of a blog post right on Active Rain!
Genius Scan = FREE for those who use Smart phones ..... I stand corrected - it appears it is for iPhones..
I was at an inspection the other day, and there, left for us by the listing agent, were lots of documents that had valuable information for us all. There was an older inspection report, a report by a builder, and other things that became helpful to have. I pondered how we could all use this information later and how to remember it.
Then I remembered that I had played around with this new app the night before, and found it to be incredible! I had scanned in a newsletter of mine from the month before, and turned it into a PDF and emailed it to myself.
So, with phone in hand, all of that valuable information went straight into a document, titled, and sent to each of our emails for later reference.
Sadly, I could not save it to my Dropbox right there, (because I had not paid for that fancy version of Genius Scan) but I could do that later.
Not only did this save me a lot of time, it accomplished something that I could not have done a year ago.
LOVE IT!!!!!
I then went home and scanned in my daughter's wedding dress receipt (for alterations) and sent it off to her. EASY PEESY!
Now, when my scanner get squirrelly and decides to not communicate with my computer - does yours do that, too? - I can just scan the docs with my phone, and .... - DONE!
