Crocuses are blooming in Kentlands - Roy and Dolores Kelley Photographs
I like to take walks through Kentlands and Lakelands, in Gaithersburg, Maryland. With my camera in hand, I watch for the changing colors of the season. Taking a few photographs makes the walks more enjoyable. Sometimes, great beauty may be found in the smallest things that we pass every day.
We do not have too many flowers blooming at this time of the year, but the Crocuses are beautiful and the first Daffodils are now blooming. Spring is coming!

Roy,
Those are beautiful flowers in your pictures. Here we do not find very many flowers are blooming as many dies during the horrible drought last summer. Most of us have to replant grass and shrubs to replace all that died.
Roy, those are beautiful pictures! I certainly hope that Spring is just around the corner!
Roy~The color in those pictures really pop! Hard to imagine flowers when we just got 6-8" of snow.
Have an AWESOME day!
Good evening to all. I really appreciate your comments. I love the colors in these tiny flowers.
Hi Roy and Delores,
I don't have the Kentlands to go to, but we are starting to get blooms here. I will try to post more than I did last spring.
I just love the shots.
Best, Clint McKie
It still seems early to have spring springing. It could be because we never really had winter this year. Have not noticed those early signs of spring here in Lancaster yet. Be well and be bright like those flowers.

Roy,
Such a beautiful purple color. So spring! First daffodil is nice, too. :)

We have several inches of snow on the ground, and spring seems like a long way off. Your pictures have really brightened my evening.
Spring has sprung, the grass has riz, with Roy's photos of flowers you do not have to wonder where Roy and his camera is!
Good morning, Roy. Right now, palm trees, begonias and loads of other plants (that I have forgotten the name of) are in bloom. Life is good...
we're expecting snow flurries here in Chicago...this has been such a warm winter...the geese never left..and the flowers should be arriving anyday....(delivered from Maryland)...
Thank you......
Mike
Beautiful photos. The bright yellow of the daffodil is amazing. Spring will definitely be here soon!
Good morning to all. I always appreciate your comments.
We have a beautiful sunny day in Maryland and life is good!
Good morning Roy, these are photos are suitable for framing! In the Pacific Northwest we are starting to see a few signs of spring with early Cherry Blossoms blooming.
Oh, Roy...so beautiful! You make our hearts sing, with your stellar photos.
That was quite the little grouping of flowers in the first shot. Your crocuses seem to be shades of blue.
Hi Roy, I love this photo study of the Crocus. I must say the first one looks like a painting. Beautiful Roy and so well done!
Roy- I've never seen such amazing colors! Hope spring comes soon to you!
