I have driven past Artesano Iron Works for the past couple of years, always meaning to stop off as this shop just looks so cool from the outside. Well today, I had been out taking some photos for a new rental listing that is coming in Wayne, a 1 bedroom 1 bath condo on the ground floor and was on my way back to the office when I grabbed the opportunity to stop off and see what Artesano Iron Works was all about.
I got to meet Igor Roa, yes that is his name and he is delightful, and is very willing to help you with any project you might have because this place is exceptionally cool if you need some custom designed iron work for a chandelier or a sculpture or a focal point in a home or landscape. They also have some fabulous furniture using reclaimed wood, mostly combined with some iron work. I could not believe it when Igor told me they have been there two years, procrastination and time flying do have an effect. I was so glad I stopped off today, and hope to go back soon and do an interview with Igor so he can tell you a little more about what they do. Check out these photos, and don't wait as long as I did, stop by and say hello, you may just find something you cannot live without. They are located at 354 West Lancaster Avenue, between Minella's and the Farmer's market on the same side as Minella's Diner.
