I went to the Flower Show with my daughter Cathy.  We had a nice lunch and then went to the show.  She had never been to the Flower Show.  The displays and smells were wonderful.  It is amazing how the landscapers and nurseries come in with 60 foot trees, install patios, ponds and create a gardener's delight in so short a time.

We walked around and took in all the sights.  There was the usual exhibitors displaying windows, cabinets, birdhouses, heating systems, solar products, etc.  One of the reasons we went today is because it wouldn't be as busy as the weekend.  The downside was that we were constantly being solicited to enter a "contest" to win something.  This was after you filled out a questionnaire with all your contact information.

It was a great afternoon for father and daughter to enjoy the sites and for some quite time just talking.
