Celebrities of Classic Film & TV Descend Upon Palm Springs for the 1st Annual Palm Springs Classic Film Festival & Star Fair

Over 150 celebrities of classic films & TV have descended upon Palm Springs for the 1st annual Palm Springs Classic Film Festival & StarFair. The event is playing at the Palm Springs Convention Center in Downtown Palm Springs.

The Palm Springs Walk of Stars organization is hosting this weekend's film event, and the stars will be on hand to sign autographs. The money that you pay for the stars' autographs & pictures will all go to charity. The price for the event is $30 per day, or your can purchase a 3-day pass for $50.

The celebrities that are scheduled to be available for the event: Rhonda Fleming, Jane Russell, Tony Curtis, Lindsay Wagner, Richard Anderson, Cheetah the Chimp (from the Tarzan movies), Patty McCormack (The Bad Seed), Del Shores, Tippi Hedren (The Birds) and too many more to mention.

Harold - This sounds like just too much fun. Please be sure to let us know how it went. I wish I could be there. I get to show property this weekend, so won't be able to make it out there :( Maybe next year:)

That looks like a great event! I hope it goes well so it becomes a second annual, third annual, etc. I always wondered.... can it really be called a first annual if it's a first? Have fun!

The event was a lot of fun. I was at my friend's Christmas party when I met Ruta Lee. We also had a world renowned mezzo-soprano Opera singer from New York perform at the party. Her voice was absolutely incredible!!

I never know who I am going to meet in Palm Springs.....I love it here!!

I absolutely love visiting Palm Springs. We usually come every year in Oct or Nov but not this year due to some family illness. Maybe next year!
