Are You Using ActiveRain?

As much as it reads like a "brown-nosing" blog, it is not.  Lately I have found myself searching ActiveRain for more and more resources.  Staging, Neighborhood Expertise, Economics, Community Issues etc.  Bloggers are potential business relationships and more importantly a great place to seek new ideas.

This is the intention of social-networking sites ... in fact this is such a trend that it is part of the Swanepoel Trends Report.

If you are not taking advantage all the resources and bloggers than you are missing a vital part of the community.

I teach new agents, experienced agents and people that call themselves realtors and I love sharing informaton to them on how to build their websites, advertise themselves, etc., but I sometimes feel like if I share everything I'm cutting my own throat. ActiveRain is one of those things. I want everyone there but I also don't have time to blog daily and I'm afraid I'll be kicked out of my spot if I keep telling everyone. Where do you draw the line as to agents in your own office?

Hi Allen,

We love AR and have started seeing it more and more as a great business tool.  It gives us a great way to get friendly with local agents, recruit, find agents for referrals all over the country and so on.  I love to blog and share ideas as well as read about them.  You are right, AR is a great place!

Sincerely,

Kathleen

Very good observations about the advantages of being an Active Rainer.  Where the name came from I don't know.

AR is such a great resource on so many different levels.  You're right--if you aren't taking advantage of all there is to offer, then you are definitely missing out.

Thanks all of you for the comments ... I think that the best use of AR is to Learn and Share ...

Thanks for making it so simple Craig
