LEMON BARS

            When my wife was 7 years old, her dad discovered a wonderful recipe for, what else, lemon bars while serving jury duty in downtown Santa Ana, the county seat of Orange County. These lemon bars soon became a part of her family and she's been making them for our family since we've been married-21 years.

            Recently, the Orange County Register, our local paper, picked her recipe as a favorite and featured it in their food section.
