Planned Parenthood's great contraception deception
Hmmm.... Guess this is yet another example of what Michael Sargent, Executive Director of The Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee, would refer to as "basic preventative health care".
Food products labels are interesting things. The ingredients list uses some...I don't know...whacked-out ranking system whereas the first things on the list are what the product contains the most of- and the last things on the list are what the product features least. For some reason, this is usually stuff called FD& C Yellow 5 or something- but I digress.
Is Planned Parenthood of Greater Orlando any different? I doubt it.
I've always said that I have the utmost respect for anyone- anyone who says what they believe and believes in what they say. Be it an individual or an organization, I may disagree- but I'll respect that others' opinions don't always mirror mine yet are equally as worthy.
That said, I have a serious problem with Planned Parenthood of Greater Orlando. Their hypocrisy is obvious when they have one stated "mission" that's seemingly crafted to appeal to the masses- yet run their organization with priorities that don't quite fall in line with said mission.

Planned Parenthood of Greater Orlando's stated mission is "to provide affordable, quality healthcare and relevant information in support of every person’s right to make voluntary, informed decisions about family planning, healthcare and responsible sexual behavior".
Can't put it any clearer than this: If you're gonna be baby killers (which you are), and you're going to run ads like the one above (Orlando Weekly, March 1-7, 2012) and clearly market yourselves as baby-killers (which you're doing), then don't use some phony mission statement that conveniently omits your baby-killing services.
Baby killing...Planned Parenthood of Greater Orlando's not-so-secret ingredient.
