Associates Use Holidays to Network, Market, Spread Cheer
 | | IN THE SPIRIT: Desiree Daniels (top right) and her team make sure they have a moment with Santa at a holiday open house Daniels hosted for 500 people at her home. | With the holidays just around the corner, RE/MAX Associates have found fun and creative ways to incorporate the spirit of the season into their marketing efforts. From handing out holiday goody bags to an open house Christmas party complete with Santa and a photographer, Associates are getting their names out and sharing the goodwill around their neighborhoods. Take Desiree Danielsof RE/MAX Tri County in Hamilton Square, N.J. Daniels hosted a party attended by more than 500 people at her home. Children sat on Santa Claus's lap to tell him what they wanted for Christmas while a photographer captured the magic. Daniels, who has hosted the party for two years, says it's the best money she's ever spent on self-promotion. "I never had to hard-sell myself and what I did for a living," Daniels (ABR) says. "The chatter seemed to unfold on its own. This was bigger than I imagined. It was great personal promotion, but the memories and the impressions I made on the parents, my team and the children were priceless." If you can't orchestrate a large-scale event like this, no worries - other Associates have you covered. Here are some of their suggestions to spread holiday cheer - and market your business: |
