I was headed past the animal farm this week and this goose was in the road (as it often is) and this time it came right up to the car as if he/she wanted to hop in. I snapped this with my cell phone before he/she waddled away chattering on and on.

Geese can be very cool people to chat with. At one of my old offices there was a feed store next door and they had a goose named Gus! Very personable. I was quite upset when they finally sold him.

Hi Debra,

They can be such chatter-boxes and just go on and on like we can understand them. I like to go to the pond in our city and take pictures. I am never sure when they come up to me squawking if they are mad or just talking but fun to interact iwth anyway. Great photo!
