17 Comments on Maturity Matters, Newsletter for Boomers & Seniors in Victoria, March 2012
You guys are great to pursue this avenue of service. All our friends in the 50+ age group have parental real estate problems at the moment. It can be a huge burden without the help of folks like yourselves who know the ropes. Good for you.
HI Steve and Jan,
The 50 + age group often has kids and or grand children at home as well as parents to consider, the challenges are multiple and can be very emotional and complcated
Great Newsletter Peter and Linda. Do you mail a versio of it out to people who do not have internet?
HI Chris,
We could and likely should mail and use a print version, but have not to be honest (lack of time is the issue)
Hi Peter and Linda, what a great post with lots of valuable information. I've been dealing with a bit of this and with people living longer than ever, this is a something many will need to address at one time or another.
Hi Cindy,
Every week we see somebody with a variety of age related challenges personally or in their family, and having some directions, tips and resources become very important.
Great post Peter and Linda, and Kudos to you for putting together that terrific newsletter each month. That is a time consuming task.
The Pfanntastic Pfanns have done it again - a very useful resource for seniors in the Victoria area! Great job, Peter and Linda!
HI Al,
Thank you for the kind words, our affiliation with CPCA and EFCn assists us in being able to compile and provide much of this information on a regular base.
Hi Karen,
You are too kind, we try to give as much information for our aging readers and clients as possible in one place and hopefully they gain benefits from the information
Peter & Linda-
wow, what a great, informational blog here. You have much-needed advice for those caregivers, aging readers and even threw a recipe in there. Great!
SUGGESTED! Well... if I wasn't prepared BEFORE I moved my parents here, I am now. It's been 5 years. In those 5 years my father passed away from complications from Alzheimer's and we are not staying with my mother who has dementia because she can no longer life by herself. Has it been easy? NO WAY? Has it been worth it? YOU BET! GREAT post!
Hi David
thanks for the support, we work and assist with many aging people and their care givers and we hope our information benefits them
Hi Joni,
Thanks for the suggest, we started focussing on the aging after having assisted an amazing lady with dementia and initially had great difficulty in finding solutions for her, and we committed to become a resouce and voice for those in need
From the title, I would think Boomers are NOT Seniors..........made me smile.....I will turn 64 in October, so the idea of NOT being a senior is pretty cool with me!
HI Barbara - Jo,
As Linda Says, we are only as old as we feel, and every day that I look in the mirror, I ask myself who is that guy...... that ain't me...
Another great newsletter. I think I'm going to try those potatoes tonight!
Hi Cara,
thank you for your kind words let us know how you like the recipe..
