Hi Ken~ I like your approach. We tried door knocking last year for Short Sale listings. We didn't have any success, but of course, it's a delicate situation.
Ken: You're a go-getter! Love it! And you're right ... most people want to know what's happening sale-wise in their area, so you're providing them with a service by being informed and passing it on. Best of luck to you in this endeavor ...

Hi Gene and Donna. Thanks! I am a go getter, aren't I!!!!
Donna, most short sale sellers don't really care about selling. Perhaps that was the reason for the tepid response...
Thanks again!
Ken
Hi Ken, I think this is a good idea. Being a female, I would have to have my hubby along for safety.
Ken - You're a braver soul than I my friend. I'll be watching if it works for you.... Well then I might just have to reconsider becoming a door knocker! Keep us informed and make it a great day in all you do!
Hi Ken, I found this after seeing your most recent post. This is an excellent plan I'm looking forward to reading about your results. Many thanks for sharing your script. This post should have been featured.
Hi Shirley, Nancy and John. Thanks so much! I would have liked to have had this post featured too!
I undertand being a woman, one might not feels safe. It gives me an advantage...
Thanks again guys!
Ken
I would have never thought to target town homes. Hmm...looks like I will be subscribing to your blog!
Hi Doug. Thanks! I come up with a good idea from time to time...
Thanks again!
Ken
Hi Ken,
Door knocking is the best! I find it takes about 12-18 months of consistently knocking one area, and then the results start coming in. Great blog post! Hope your business sees a boom....I'll be on the streets this weekend in sunny San Diego!
Hi Ken,
Great post! I started farming an area in January and after 3 direct mail contacts, I am going to start walking the neighborhood. Thanks for the great tips!
Hi Richard and Lori. Thanks so much.
It really isn't that hard, and most people are very receptive...
Thanks again!
Ken
Hi Ken,
I have been thinking about door knocking in my area. Weather is great!! I think I will start this next week.
Hi Rick and Dwight. Thanks for stopping in!
I am so glad to hear others are out doing it...
It is surprisingly easy! Good luck!
Thanks again!
Ken
I'm been going ( 'going') to door knock for years! Still 'going'. After they start talking to you, it is easy, but how to actually .....meet them face to face?
Most ignore you, some put cute little plaques that reads something like this: ' If I didn't know you were coming, you better be going.' :), some shut the door at your face after you smile and introduce yourself.
Gotta love being in sales:)
Hi Ken,
I'm going to atempt door knocking and this really encouraged me. Thank you so much for sharing! :D
