DEATH’S DOOR BARBEQUE: August 24th & 25th, 2012 | Washington Island Chamber of Commerce
 
Come to beautiful Washington Island Friday and Saturday, August 24th & 25th for the first official Death's Door Bar-B-Q at the Washington Island Airport.
 
Washington Island is a great place with good restaurants, beaches, a cherry train, a good golf course, and you can get there by boat (ferries are the preferred means of travel to bring a car across), or by plane (very popular).  While there, you can join the "Bitters Club" by drinking a shot of Agnostic Bitters (and then you are a card-carrying member), eat deep fried lawyers ( a delicacy also known as burbot) and enjoy the Barbecue.  One must cross Death's Door to reach Washington Island.
 
If you're planning a summer visit, be sure to stop by Fish Creek so we can discuss Door County properties.  I'm listing and selling this week...but looking forward to a "Death's Door Barbecue".  Only in Door County!
