Several Manatee County, Florida home builders are offering big incentives to buyers who act by the end of the year.

• * One builder will pay the homeowners dues, property taxes and homeowners insurance for two years if buyers sign a contract before Dec. 31.
• * Another builder will pay the property taxes for the next two years.

The prices being offered on inventory homes represents as much as a 28 percent savings over last year's prices.  Builders are selling homes at a loss in order to close out their last few inventory homes.

With today's low interest rates, if you are thinking about buying a home, it probably doesn't get any better than this.

Home prices in Manatee County have risen for the past three months, which means this buyer's market is starting to stabilize. Buyers, who have been trying to time the market, may have already missed the best buying opportunity.
