This is another wonderful localism post, Dale! And I agree, great graphic to go along with it!!!
What a great opportunity to get up close and personal with a poet Dale and hear them read their work! We went to a book reading once and it is amazing to hear an author read to you the way they had meant the words to sound!
Howdy Dale,
Local writer Matthew Guentte sounds like an accomplish writer and poet. I have never been to a poetry reading event but it sounds interesting especially with a local writer giving the talk.
Writing and reading poetry is an art. My step-son did a poetry reading at one of the galleries here in Lewisburg he was dressed in 1800s attire and did a great job.
Another wonderful localism, Dale. Mr. Guenette sounds like a Renaissance man and how great to have the 2007 American Poetry Journal Book award winner read his own words to you.
Dale,
Thanks for sending Bob a message. I am not a big poetry fan but I know many in your area are good localism post! Take care and have a great day.
Dale - Shoot, it has been years since I've been to a poetry reading. Maybe it's just me, but it seems like a dying art these days. It is always nice to hear that folks like Matthew are keeping it alive and well.
