TO ALL MY LOYAL SUBSCRIBERS AND FRIENDS!!! I have waited until Sunday Afternoon to post this:

For the last 40 hours I have been on a spiritual retreat with my 13 & 11 year old sons! There were over 300 other men on this retreat with us...!

The needs of our industry and the depressed real estate market were two of my prayer intentions that were privately offered for all the men to pray about!

Please know that although I have been absent in body from my Active Rain Community, I have not forgotten my friends and subscribers here...in fact I pray for you and the needs of your families and businesses each day!!!

I pray that the Lord will bless you, your families, and your businesses this holiday and Holyday season with abundant blessings, comfort, and renewed faith, hope, and love!

With expectant faith and the best wishes for a Merry Christmas...Fran

You were away for 40 hours. That number has many biblicle connotations.

That's a beautiful thing for you and your son's. I'm glad to hear they can't wait to go back.

May GBY and yours!

Fran,

A time of refreshing is a great idea.  Good for you that you were able to do that with your kids.

Thank you for your well wishes for the holidays.  I have to say that I am not very enthusiastic about Christmas this year.  3 of my 5 children will not be home and the heavy commercialism of Christmas, Walmart had Christmas stuff out at Halloween, is a turn-off to me.

Fortunately, the reason, or the original reason, anyway, that we celebrate Christmas is something I celebrate in my heart almost everyday of the year...the birth of Christ.

God Bless,

Barbara-Jo & Bill: Thanks for noticing!!!

Sean: They were both amazingly attentive throughout...especially at mealtime!

Armando: Yes, especially the number of hours Jesus spent in the tomb!!!

Jo: I think they are even more enthused than I...they are already planning on attending next year!!!

Hugh: I don't think the Lord measures the value of prayer in 'hours'...Quality over quantity is key!!!

Fran: You've got it right...ignore the rest of the world!!!

Thanks,   Fran
