DC area readers know the name "Five Guys Burgers and Fries." For everyone else, Five Guys is a restaurant chain serving the best quality hambugers with a myrid of toppings, two sizes of boardwalk fries, and two sizes of drinks. They also have hot dogs for the non-burger lover. The simple menu allows them to focus on quality and their lean beef burgers are among the best in the nation. Plus, its relatively affordable. If you share a regular fry (which is enough for 3 people), two people can eat for around $15. Skip the fries and you're in McDonalds territory - and its soooo much better.
In fact, Five Guys are highly rated as having the best burgers by the Washingtonian, Washington Post, and many other local papers.
As of last year, there were only two Five Guys franchises in Charlotte but they are growing like wildfire. Along with the franchises in Concord and Ballantyne, there are now restuarants open in Monroe and Matthews (Crownpoint). If you are a burger lover like me, go and get hooked. If you're looking for a franchise to invest in, this is it!
