The NASCAR Hall of Fame
When visiting Charlotte, NC make sure that you head to the Uptown area where, if you’re into racing, you can visit the NASCAR Hall of Fame.
This beautiful building is 150,000 square feet of high tech, interactive fun. If you ever wanted to know how NASCAR started and wanted to look at the roots of how it began to where it is now, this is the place.
There are over 50 interactive exhibits. The average visit is around 3-4 hours starting with a history of NASCAR and stock car racing in their High-Octane Theater.
You can also feel like part of the pit crew, where they have a place to actually take part in doing some of the things that they do. Lots of hands-on activities for the kids too.
