Moonrise Over Albuquerque’s Snow Covered Sandia Mountain
We took this photo from our front yard February of the moonrise over Albuquerque's snow covered Sandia Mountain. If you look closely you will see the television and radio towers on top of the 10, 678 feet Sandia Mountain crest. It is a surreal to watch the magic of a moonrise overAlbuquerque’s snow covered Sandia Mountain with the sky glowing pink from desert sun sinking in the western sky.

I love this picture!!! The moon was full here tonight and looked so big. I was driving or would have loved to get a picture of it!
John, You've got quite the view from your front yard! The moon was exceptionally big and bright last night. Woke up at one point and you could see clearly through the woods surrounding our home.

That is unbelievable. My front yard is a view of the Bay and a Creek and seagulls and Marshland and a Blue Heron and Calvert Cliff or two!
