Now That's a Laundry Room - Lennar's Next Gen Home

Hello DeeDee! That's a nice, big laundry room! I love the sink and counter space. It's sure to be a selling point for Lennar in this neighborhood.

My daughter and son-in-law bought a Lennar home. It has steel framing instead of wood. Cuts down the worries of termites and dry rot but makes it a challenge to hang photos on the walls.

Is that the type of construction Lennar is using in Eldorado Hills?

Now that's a LAUNDRY ROOM! Lennar does build a nice house. Good value for the money.

I know the Lennar homes here are being built with Energy Efficience features. They are also being independently tested for energy efficiency compliance because I have tested them. I wonder if the ones down there are also. It's a good feature for the buyers.

I want that laundry room.  One thing to be wary of, Lennar puts a charitble fee on all thier homes.  This fee goes with the house and a percentage goes to Lennar every time it SELLS.  Can I only tell you  what happens to this on a short sale.  It's 1/2 of 1%, but it's still there.

I'm digging the laundry room with windows.  A little natural light coming in while you're doing the dirty work.

Now that is a n awesome laundry roon DeeDee.

Conventional wisdom is that the kitchen sells a house, but I think you may have found the exception. LOVE it!

Wow!  All those cabinets and a window and sink too!  I've seen kitchens that were not as nice!

The idea of building with multi-generations in mind is a good one.  My parents lived with me for 3-1/2 years, my daughter and her family for 1-1/2 years.  It's a pretty normal thing these days.  If we had the right house, I think living with another generation makes good economic sense.

DeeDee, Lennar does build some great homes, and the laundry rooms built here in Denver are outside the bedrooms on the upper floor, where all the dirty laundry is generated!
