Exeter is a very charming town, with loads of history associated with it. Did you know that Exeter used to be the state capital for New Hampshire? Yes, during the Revolutionary War times, Exeter was the capital.
The downtown area reminds me of a Norman Rockwell painting, with neat little shops and restaurants tucked here and there.
