Thursday, December 13th will prove to be a fun event for all those attending "The Best Buddies Inland Empire Friendship Gala" being held at the beautiful Edwards Mansion in Redlands.  The evening will feature dinner, dancing, a silent auction and wine tasting from the Alex Sotelo Cellars of Napa Valley.

Best Buddies, a 501(c)3 organization, was founded in 1989 by Anthony Kennedy Shriver with the mission to enhance the lives of people with intellectual disabilities by providing opportunities for one-to-one friendships and integrated employment.  People with intellectual disabilities are often excluded from society because of their differences. Best Buddies is determined to end social isolation for people with intellectual disabilities by establishing meaningful, lasting one-to-one friendships with their non-disabled peers. These friendships help increase self-esteem, confidence and the abilities of people with and without intellectual disabilities.

The Alex Sotelo Cellars produces only small quantities of premium Napa Valley wines.  Membership in their private wine club offers the benefits of early access to their limited production wines on a pre-release basis.
